She would like to cover the top of the open framed pergola with aluminum sheathing. She was told there will need to be a COP by the engineer submitted to the building department. 5/17/2022 4:30:08 PM JS - owner will not go through with COP 5/18/2022 5:12:03 PM Double 2x8 carry beam to wood column connection and double 2x8 ledger to concrete column connections not per plan. Plan calls for (2) 1/2'' through-bolts at each wood column connection but lag screws were used instead. Replace all column lag screws with 8 through-bolts (per plan). Also, ledgers connected to the 2 concrete columns should be fastened to columns w/ (2) 1/2'' epoxy bolts embedded 5'' minimum per column.
